‘He does tell us every night that he trusts us to make our own decisions’
My daughter says to Quixol who is curious at her statement
And a bit surprised that I would put that much trust in my children
I do not make a single decision for them or their wellbeing or welfare
They make it themselves
I feed them
The rest is up to them
If they want to survive
They have to figure it out on their own
It will help them transition out on their own
When they set up their own homes and families
So why should I not start them off young
In making their own decisions for themselves?
After all it is their life!
I nor my wife
Will be here forever
What will happen then
When then are an adult
With the attitudes
And the behaviors of a child?
What good of parenting have I done then?
