We were telling Quixol about our favorite spices
And she was surprised that we liked cumin and oregano
I pointed out to her that we had a variety of religions in Spain
She nodded silently and grinned
Then asked me to make lamb stew for her for the dinner tonight
Miro and I grinned at each other in triumph.
